Your tables can be outfitted with hidden extension sheets or storage sheets along with a sheet storage cabinet for those larger dinners.
Construction of dining room furniture
The construction of each piece of furniture is done using the correct wood joining methods. Therefore:
• Mortise and tenon joints are used for the rails.
• The four corners of each drawer are connected by dovetail joints.
• English dovetails are used for maximum strength.
• Cabinet backs mount flush and secure with screws rather than dowels or staples.
• Raised panel doors are equipped with metal spacer balls to allow expansion and contraction to occur without the usual noise and cracking of wood.
• Tables with legs instead of pedestals are equipped with interlocking screwed wooden corner blocks to strengthen the structure.
• The table edges are sealed to prevent loosening.
• Varnishes are catalyzed cured for maximum durability.
Booths and Cabinets
A variety of hutch and wall cabinets are available, including a dining corner hutch and a dining room server. There are 28 server, buffet and sideboard styles, ranging from the ornate Queen Anne convertible style to a simple Mission Shaker server. The other 53 offer a variety of display cabinets and buffets, some in the form of cabins designed to sit on top of the buffets and sideboards.
