Why 95% of Internet Marketers Fail in the First Year?

That is the statistic that I just received from several reputable sources on the internet. That is a higher rate than brick and mortar companies. Can you imagine why that happens? Can I.

First of all, there are all the “promise-anything” websites that claim to make it a hit overnight if you do what they say for a few weeks or a month. Then there are the websites that claim to have found a loophole that allows them to earn four-figure income every day. And of course there are websites that offer black hat tricks to get rich. The list goes on. These people need to be shut down.

I remember researching some of the success claims I have received over the years. One was about a young man who had just made more than $ 100,000 in a month. It turned out to be true. But what was not said was that he had been working as an internet marketer for five years, had launched over a hundred websites, and this was his crown jewel month. That’s great, but the inference on the sales page would lead you to conclude that it was a sudden hit. There was also a lady who was making $ 21,000 a month with CPA (cost per action). In short, I had over 400 small CPA one page sites making between $ .25 and $ .50 per submission. These examples are not fraudulent, but they leave something to be desired.

Now please don’t get me wrong. There are a lot of good internet marketers promoting their courses legitimately, and they have good courses. Many focus on a specific internet marketing topic. There is nothing wrong with that either.

The difficulty arises when someone new takes a course, implements the plan, and it doesn’t work. Without help, this hurts the new person, the course author, and internet marketing.

Think about this for a minute. Look at the past successes in your life. Did you get there overnight? Did you get there because you found a loophole in your industry? Did you get there cheating? Did you get there because you started a business early? I seriously doubt it.

You got there because you studied, learned skills, got good at your craft, and put them into practice on a daily basis. This is how you experience success. What makes you think that being successful in internet marketing is different? Well, it isn’t! Those people I referenced four paragraphs ago spent time learning internet marketing, developing the necessary skills, and then putting them into practice every day. Once they were successful with a website, guess what they did? You have it! They did it over and over again.

Some of these now successful internet marketers spent a lot of money following a particular internet marketer, taking all of their courses and buying all the tools they were selling. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you have the funds to dedicate to that process. Help channel your success.

The problem is that many new people trying to enter the world of internet marketing don’t have those resources, so they take what they have and quickly invest it in one aspect of internet marketing, and when it’s over … they’re gone. .

I know of a young man who came in and out like that. He had $ 2,300 to invest. He did some research and decided that PPC was the best and fastest way to achieve financial success. Two weeks later, he had spent all of the $ 2,300 campaign money on highly competitive keywords and it became a statistic. He never got a sale. He’s a very bright guy but he lacked a few things. First, it didn’t take the time to learn and acquire basic skills in keyword selection and competitor evaluation, and it also lacked PERSISTENCE.

Now consider this alternative approach. It is based on the premise that long-term success in internet marketing is like long-term success in the brick and mortar business. It is based on the acquisition of skills to establish a solid foundation based on a strategy whose skills it is important to acquire first. Once you have the skills and have tested the waters, then it is time to evaluate and invest in an advanced course on a topic within Internet marketing; because now you are prepared.

A former commanding general of mine had a sign at the entrance. It was just the letter “P” five times. What represents “Pre-preparation prevents poor performance“What reason was he.

Never forget the meaning of the letters PPPPP.
