The Max Plank Diet

The “Max Plank” diet was created by researchers at the Max Plank Institute of Nutrition in Germany and, if followed for two weeks, can improve metabolism and prevent the body from gaining weight for the next three years, according to its authors.

For the Max Plank diet, alcohol or sweets are strictly prohibited. Dieters should drink at least 0.5 gallons of fluid per day and use only dietary salt. They should not consume sugary drinks or mineral water.

Monday:

For breakfast, dieters should have coffee without sugar or milk. Lunch includes two boiled eggs and boiled spinach. Dinner is a big beef barbecue with lots of green salad and celery. Dieters should not consume bread.

Tuesday:

For breakfast, dieters should have coffee without sugar or milk. Lunch includes a large beef barbecue with lots of green salad and fruit, but no bread. For dinner, you can eat all the ham you want, but no bread.

Wednesday:

For breakfast, have unsweetened coffee or milk with two ounces of bread. Lunch may consist of two boiled eggs with lots of green salad and tomatoes. Ham and green salad are allowed for dinner. Dieters should not eat bread for lunch and dinner.

Thursday:

For breakfast, have unsweetened coffee or milk with two ounces of bread. For lunch, try an egg with lots of raw or boiled carrots and cheese. For dinner, eat as many fruits with yogurt as you like.

Friday:

Breakfast consists of coffee without sugar or milk and raw carrots with lemon juice. For lunch, try boiled fish with tomatoes. For dinner, you must have a grilled meat with salad. Bread is not allowed for lunch and dinner.

Saturday:

For breakfast, dieters can have a cup of unsweetened coffee or milk and two ounces of bread, as much grilled chicken as you like for lunch, and two hard-boiled eggs with carrots for dinner.
