WoW leveling guide: leveling tips for beginners
Hope everyone has a nice day! Here’s a tip for all WoW Cataclysm players looking to level up quickly. Many newbies ask a particular question that even seasoned WoW players can’t answer: how can I get my toon to level 85 in the shortest amount of time?
Actually, there are some tips that will help you level up to 85 in the shortest time possible. Some of the tips I’ll give you are some of the secrets WoW leveling guide masters don’t want you to know! The main things you need to worry about are missions, DO NOT run instances (more on that later), stay away from grinding at all costs (unless necessary on a mission), setting your leveling goal (and not you go astray), and get a nice complement of missions with a good WoW leveling guide.
Searching
One of the best things you can do to level up to 85 is to complete missions! Completing missions rewards you with a ton of XP, and some missions require you to move an “x” amount of mobs, which will grant you even more XP as you try to complete the mission. You are killing two birds with one stone! Try to find as many missions that require grinding as you can, because when you start killing mobs your XP will grow exponentially and you will hit that level cap soon!

One of the biggest misconceptions of leveling up is instance execution. The only thing I have to say is that you only need to run instances when you have a search for that particular instance. Most people run instances to have fun with their friends, make friends, want a good challenge, or be young. Your only reason for running instances should be to complete the missions you have for that particular instance. The reason for this is that it distracts you from reaching your goal of quickly reaching level 85, which we will cover shortly.
DO NOT grind
Most WoW leveling guides will tell you that grinding is the best way to level up, but in fact, it is not. Sure, there are a lot of mobs roaming Azeroth, but they barely give you enough XP. The only exception to this, which we already talked about, is when you are required to move an “x” amount of monsters to complete a mission. That is the only time when you need to grind.
Set your leveling goal
Obviously, there are quite a few things you can do to level up to 85 as quickly as possible. The most important thing you want to do is set “level to 85 as fast as possible”. I’m serious. That should be your only goal in the game. Don’t worry about any profession, don’t worry about BGs, don’t worry about making friends, don’t worry about twinking, don’t worry about ANYTHING! Your goal is to level up to 85 in the shortest amount of time, so let that be the only thing on your mind and on your goal list!
