TVR – The sexiest of all British sports cars

They drive fast. They are elegant, British and very sexy.

They are the Cheryl Coles, Kelly Brooks, Liz Hurley and Sienna Miller of sports car design.

They are TVR… and they are the zenith of great British sports car engineering.

Forget other analogies of good Britain, like fish ‘n’ chips, roast beef, cream tea and a pint in a British pub: we’re talking about desire; we are talking mighty; And we’re talking very sexy… but we’re not talking dirty.

We’re talking great; we are talking exclusive; we’re talking fit; And we’re talking about a date you want to keep with your next dream car.

The TVR brand has become something of a legend in recent years. Since production ceased in 2007, the brand has been linked to numerous rumors from Piston Head and TVR’s former management team; Russian billionaires; two American businessmen who want to start production in Orlando of 5,000 units a year and the former general director of TVR, David Oxley.

All I can say is ‘keep watching’.

TVR is in the hearts and minds of thousands of fans and owners, and its demise as a manufacturer is only temporary.

Aspiring owners can source these sexy beasts online and from reputable UK TVR dealers.

Parts, service and after-sales support are guaranteed through the bona fide dealer supply line, and the vehicles and brand remain the dream favorite of many motorists.

When it comes to talking about individual models, I’m in my element and can rave about their specs and trademark sass.

The word that best sums up TVR’s famous Chimera is… effortless. Powered by the legendary TVR Power, a development of the Rover V8, its 4.5 liter engine [285bhp] motor can take this beauty from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and propel you from 0 to 100 mph in 11.2 seconds. With a top speed of 160 mph, you may not be in the fastest car on the road, but you’ll KNOW you’re driving a fun car. Its large-bore stainless steel exhaust system exudes an incredible V8 sound and is optimized for peak performance.

Aesthetically, the Chimaera is a handsome design enhanced by 15-inch front and 16-inch rear alloys. One look at the spells in the cabin… seduction in sight. A 350mm leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on an adjustable column: everything about the dashboard and instrument panel design tells you, ‘I’m British and I’m proud of it.’

TVR’s Tamara is a rear-wheel drive, 3.6-liter, inline-6, 2-seat, fully convertible sports car for the fun-loving motorist. Accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, it can hit 100 mph in 9.5 seconds and a top speed of 175 mph. TVR’s Tamora has the power and pace to entertain and excite sports car fans.

TVR’s 2-door, 4-seat coupe, with an integral roll cage, gives the passionate and patriotic British sports car enthusiast an extra dimension in interior space, along with power and luxurious comfort. The Cerbera is certainly a class act to follow, if you’re trying to get up to speed on the open road. Their

4.2 liters [360bhp] The V8 engine will take you from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds. It can quickly reach 100 mph from a standstill in just 9.9 seconds and go on to a top speed of 180 mph.

Both feature sumptuous interiors with all the comforts associated with TVR’s advanced engineering, along with ice detectors, power windows, remote window lock, alarm and engine immobilizer.

These girls really turn heads and from behind might be mistaken for a Jaguar coupe, but not by a TVR expert.

How NOT to get excited when mentioning TVR’s Tuscan?

In a word… temptation.

TVR delivered a rear-wheel drive 2-seat inline 6-cylinder in-line alloy engine. The larger Tuscan S offers a capacity of 3,995cc which will deliver a top speed of over 195mph. The Tuscan sports 18-inch alloys and looks like a baby beast to drive, but drives like a dream. From the moment you feast your eyes along the front of his sunken hat and into his seductive eyes,[gas discharge headlights on full beam],your heart will start beating in unison with its 390bhp engine.

Everything about the Tuscan S says that simplistic design meets great British engineering: inside the interior, its machined aluminum finish contrasts with the interior cabin and innovative steering wheel design like a deep British axiom… She is brilliant. She talks to you saying ……… ‘Drive me for all I’m worth and climax at over 195 mph.’

How can anyone resist her throbbing charm and power?

TVR’s prestigious portfolio of classic sports cars and coupes would not be complete without the T350, two-seater, 3.6-litre, 6-cylinder, rear-wheel drive. Its compact good looks are seductive and shouldn’t fool motorists, as it has incredibly responsive performance. Any sporting animal that hits 60 mph from a standstill in 4.4 seconds is a T350 tiger waiting to be tamed. With its attractive racing seats and interior styling, the T350 has something of a mischief in its demeanor.

The 18-inch alloys give him a striking stiletto stature that no testosterone gasoline head can ignore.

Pull up to the bus stop on this curvaceous centerfold and that insanely attractive babe you spend every day drooling over your asset and you won’t be able to resist her gracious offer……….

Do you want me to take you to the city in my TVR? you ask.

There’s a brief pause, which seems like an eternity, and then she answers…

“I would have preferred the Tuscan S, which is a class act and epitomizes TVR’s throbbing performance values.”

‘You’re the class act in this conversation, beautiful,’ you reply confidently.

“In that case, I know you are a gentleman and the T350 will not undermine my status in front of all my co-workers.”

You lean down and open the door and in steps the girl of your dreams. You’re in heaven and the T350 purrs like a baby next to you as you smoothly accelerate.

If only…….? If only…….?

If only a dream can come true, how to buy a classic TVR?

For every motorist today, their dreams MAY soon come true, when they search for that special TVR sports car.

Internet-savvy motorists will have no problem finding a second-hand classic model online.

Upload your specs, which shouldn’t include that the owner must be a Kelly Brook lookalike, and before you know it, the TVR is within your grasp. Don’t forget to specify model, engine size and color preference, mileage and budget parameters; will reduce response disappointments.

Girls may prefer the Griffith 500 with its more compact and attractive appearance.
