Hotels in Rome

There are so many hotels in Rome that trying to figure out the best one to stay in can be tricky. I’ve found three hotels, one for every budget and all with great locations, to try and help you decide where to stay!

The first hotel is the budget option, Hotel Panda. It costs around €68 for a double room, but you have to pay an extra €20 if you want your own bathroom. The rooms are small and simple and the hotel does not offer breakfast, however the location is fantastic! Hotel Panda is within walking distance of some of the best shopping areas, such as Via del Corso and Via del Tritone. On the other hand, if you are looking for a more cultural visit, Hotel Panda is also a short distance from Via Margutta, which is the street of artists and the street of antiques, Via del Babuino. If you visit Rome in summer and stay at Hotel Panda, don’t forget that you have to pay an extra €6 for air conditioning!

The second hotel is the Hotel Quirinale and is the mid-range option. This hotel has a total of 209 rooms that come complete with queen-size beds, high ceilings, antique furnishings, and a flat-screen TV. The rooms also have blackout curtains, which is great if you’ve had too much to drink from the minibar the night before. This hotel has an excellent location for sightseeing, being surrounded by the Trevi Fountain and Piazza della Repubblica. It is ideal for those traveling to Rome by train, as it is only a few minutes from the main train station. Deluxe rooms cost around €200 a night, but that includes free use of the hotel’s private garden and fitness facilities.

The third and final hotel is the Hotel de Russie and this is the higher end budget option. You can expect to pay around €450 for a room at this five-star hotel, but if you really want to stay in complete luxury, pay a little more and stay in the Rocco Forte Suite, where you’ll receive a complimentary buffet breakfast, free use of a mobile phone so you can book in advance at all restaurants and even a free unpacking and packing service! The Hotel de Russie houses one of the best health clubs in Rome, featuring a hydromassage pool, jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish steam bath. This hotel is so unique that it even has its own compilation CD with music from Africa, Russia and Brazil! If you haven’t already been tempted to stay at this elegant hotel, you’re just a 10-minute walk from two of Rome’s most famous attractions, Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel.

All of these hotels are in great central locations, however if you want to find out more about more hotels in Rome, there are plenty of travel guides you can read! If the budget option is too expensive for you, I suggest you check out the hostels in Rome because some of them are just as nice as staying in a hotel.
