Fix Fallout 3 Freezing Windows 7

Fallout 3 may freeze while running on Windows 7. To fix this problem, you should try the following steps:

1. Enable Threaded AI

2. Fix registry problems

3. Update graphics driver

4. Update DirectX

5. Delete the content of your game cache

6. Install the latest version of the Microsoft .NET Framework

Enable threaded AI

Fallout 3 freezes on Windows 7 if Threaded AI functionality is disabled. You have to enable this feature to prevent Fallout 3 from freezing.

1. Open My Documents.

2. Double click on: My GamesFallout3

3. Double-click to open the Fallout.ini file.

4. Look for these lines:

bUseThreadedAI=0
