What to expect from Pokémon X and Y?

Pokémon X and Y have been officially announced by Nintendo. The Pokémon series has been a famous game among players of all ages. It has over 5 generations of Pokemon games that we all know most people have enjoyed playing. Pokémon X and Y is the first installment of the sixth generation of the game. It features a large number of new Pokémon, including starter Pokémon and legendary ones.

So what do we expect from this game? This game will be available on Nintendo 3DS and with that in mind, we can expect a 3D feel to the game. The battle system will remain the same, but the animation has been improved compared to its predecessor. It offers a whole new world to explore and thousands of other trainers to battle with.

The game allows you to choose what gender your trainer will be and who will be your partner Pokémon. There isn’t much information about the starter Pokemon, such as their evolution and abilities, but all we know is that they will stick with the usual lineup of Grass-type, Fire-type, and Water-type Pokemon. Chespin will be the Grass-type Pokemon, Froakie a Frog-type Pokemon which is a Water-type, and Fennekin which is a Fire-type Pokemon that looks like a dog.

Pokémon X and Y also offer 2 different Legendary Pokémon that will be available in their respective versions. Xerneas, the Legendary Pokémon that can be seen in Pokémon X, looks like a deer that has many branching horns. Yveltal will be a bird-type Pokemon featured in Pokemon Y. There are still no details on these two Legendary Pokemon, such as where to find them and how to catch them.

The game will release sometime in October based on the trailer that features Pikachu introducing the new Pokemon game. Some trailers also show that some Pokemon from other versions will appear in this game. No official information has been released on how many new Pokemon will be seen in the game, but Nintendo promises a new wave of Pokemon that has never been seen in other versions. Nintendo also claims that they made a lot of improvements to make returning players and new players much more comfortable playing their game.
