WoW Grinding Gold Guide: 3 Long Shot Grinding Points in World of Warcraft

The short gold grinding guide for World of Warcraft that I am going to illustrate below is based on long-term gold making methods. And what I mean here is that you need a bit of luck to get the rare pets that can be found in the following 3 places.

However, if you are a skinner, your time will not be wasted entirely if you choose one of these 3 locations as your gold grinding destination. The mobs you are grinding on can be skinned for various types of leather. So why grow and where?

1. Lethlor Ravine. The first place I want to review in this short guide to grinding gold is in the East Badlands. There are a lot of scalding hatchlings around, 31 to be more precise. They have a chance to drop a rare non-combat character, the Dark Whelpling. Even if you don’t get this pet, skinning these monsters will get you a great deal of thick and heavy leather that generally sells quite well. These dragonkin mobs also drop small bags of flame, ingredients used to cook Dragonbreath Chili, a very fun food to use, especially for PvP.

2. Cave of Itharius. This place is in Swamp of Sorrows, in the southwest corner. The mobs you are going to grind with are not actually inside the cave, but in the entire area in front of the cave. They are called teenage dreamy hatchlings and have a chance to drop the tiny emerald hatchling, which sells for up to 2000g. This pet is very expensive because the puppies that release it are not many and if you choose this place to grind, you will have to wait a while until they reappear. These monsters can be skinned and drop heavy and medium leather.

3. Direforge Hill. The last place I’m going to point out in this short gold milling guide is in Humedales, the middle Wetlands zone, to be more precise. There are 4 types of pups here: Red, Crimson, Lost, and Flamesnorting Whelps. Everyone can drop the Tiny Crimson Whelpling and skinning them will give you light and medium leather.

Now I have to warn you about this! Regardless of what professions your toon has, you can go and grind the pups in the places I mentioned above. But if you don’t get the rare pets, without the skinner professions, this will be a waste of time.
